Larry Pugh has had a multifaceted career both in music performance and in the business aspect of the music industry. He received his BME from Indiana University and an MM from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Since graduation, he has pursued his profession in various capacities: as accompanist, music director for musicals, high school choral music educator, music director for churches, adjudicator for contests, and conductor and accompanist for choral clinics throughout the nation.
Larry's entrance into the business side of the music industry began at Mannerino's Sheet Music in Cincinnati, where he was choral music manager for five years. In 1982 he joined The Lorenz Corporation as sales manager, and was subsequently appointed President of the Music Publishing Divisions for Lorenz in 1993.
In addition to being active in his church and the local Rotary club, Larry has served as a trustee on local boards in the arts and university community as well as several in the music industry on the national level. In his leisure time, Larry is an avid tennis player and enjoys playing bridge and solving crossword puzzles. Larry and his wife, Gloria, reside in Dayton and have two grown children, Lisa and Christopher.
