Maintenance Technician

Hours: 7am-3pm Monday - Friday, with occasional overtime

As a maintenance department team member, you’ll help maintain our facilities and equipment that help our team members succeed. The individual selected for this position will:
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Oversee contractors when necessary
• Perform repairs to building fixtures, perform plumbing repairs, repair/install light fixtures & electrical receptacles, do occasional light to medium carpentry work, do occasional drywall work, and paint
• Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policy
• Adhere to all safety, processes, and work rules
• Participate in in process improvements and their documentation

This opportunity is ideal for those who:
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent – Technical diploma a plus
• Have at least 3 years experience in facilities, manufacturing, or construction maintenance
• Have mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
• Have strong problem-solving skills
• Love to figure out how things work – and loves to make them work better
• Are able to lift 50 lbs. and are able to push, pull, reach, stand, bend, and squat
• Have the ability to operate a freight elevator safely
• Are able to prioritize demands appropriately
• Have strong organizational and time management skills
