Chuck Sinclair has been a musician in the Lord’s house for most of his life, as a volunteer or on part-time music staff, as pianist, choir director, or full-time worship pastor. Currently, Chuck can be found playing some of his original arrangements for preludes at First Baptist Church of Edmond, Oklahoma, where he is church pianist.
He and his wife Faith live in Edmond, near their two sons Jared and Josh, daughter-in-law Kat, and two grandsons Henry and Max. Chuck was born and raised in Chester, South Carolina, where he played piano and organ as a youth at the Chester First Church of the Nazarene. Chuck attended Trevecca Nazarene College (now University) and Eastern Nazarene College, where he studied music education. Chuck was a North Carolina Principal Fellow and received a master’s in school administration from UNC-Chapel Hill. Chuck was a nationally certified music educator and a school administrator with Wake County Public Schools in the Raleigh, NC, area where he served for many years.
Lillenas published a book of Chuck’s advanced piano arrangements in 1995, Songs of Assurance. Chuck contributed to Word Music’s A Solo A Sunday#8209;Volume 2 in 2006. Cherish the Cross is Chuck‘s first publication with Lorenz.
