J.B. Taylor

J.B. Taylor

Jennifer Brooke (J.B.) Taylor, an Ohio native, began studying piano at the age of 4. She started working as a church musician in 6th grade and has since served churches in Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Florida, Minnesota, Kentucky, Georgia, and Virginia. J.B. also has been a piano teacher for over 25 years, teaching hundreds of students in her home studios and at universities, national institutes, and a community music school. She loves composing and arranging both piano and choral works and recently released an album of her piano arrangements, Down in My Heart (Hymns for Rest and Reflection). J.B. holds a master’s degree in piano pedagogy and performance and an MBA.

In her free time, J.B. enjoys reading and home design projects. Although making and listening to music are obviously very important to her, some of her most cherished times are those quiet, contemplative moments of reflection, whether at home, in nature, or in church.

J.B. lives with her husband, Mark, and their noisy yet adorable beagle mix, Charlie. Learn more about J.B. and her music at jbtaylorpiano.com.
