Alan Lohr began his work as Instrumental Coordinator for SoundForth in 1990, a few months after SoundForth's first release. Alan is the writer and arranger of a large portion of the instrumental catalog. From the beginning he edited teaching materials, such as curriculum textbooks and hymnplaying manuals. Under his tenure the catalog has grown from a few flute solos and handbell pieces to hundreds of titles and complete keyboard collections. Alan now serves as handbell editor.
Alan is married to Nancy, a published author and children's book editor. They have a daughter and son‑in‑law, Erin and Jim, and two granddaughters.
