Gregorian chant forms the oldest body of music in the Western Christian church. Within these unaccompanied melodies is an undeniable spiritual power that has withstood the test of time. For this collection, nine composers drew inspiration from this sect of music, resulting in eleven exquisite arrangements well suited for use as preludes, offertories, and postludes.
