Donna Nagey Robertson is a native of Indiana, Pennsylvania where she received her early musical training. A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and the Eastman School of Music and an Associate of the American Guild of Organists, Mrs. Robertson is professor emerita at Mars Hill College where she served as college organist and taught theory, composition, and other related courses.
As an organist she has concertized in the southeastern United States and Europe and served many churches in western North Carolina. She is also in demand as an accompanist and chamber pianist.
Mrs. Robertson is a published composer whose work has been widely commissioned and performed on many festivals. She was on the founding board for the International League of Women Composers and was a founder of the former Mars Hill‑Hinshaw choral series. She is published by Lorenz, as well as other respected publishers. Mrs. Robertson lives in Asheville, North Carolina, where she continues her professional activities.
