Rodney Abriol

Rodney Abriol was born in Los Angeles, CA. An active composer, arranger, and pianist, he currently serves as Professor of Music at Arizona Western College. Responsibilities include teaching Music Appreciation, Fundamentals of Music, Music Theory, Musicianship, and Piano. Also a conductor, Mr. Abriol has led choral and orchestral performances of university music ensembles. Rodney Abriol studied piano with Victor Rosenbaum at the New England Conservatory of Music, where he completed a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance. Following studies in Boston, Mr. Abriol attended the University of Cincinnati, and graduated with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Composition, studying composition with Darrell Handel and piano with William Black. Abriol is passionate about composing vocal and instrumental sacred music for the glory of God, and is honored to have his work included in the catalogs of multiple sacred music publishers.
