Spring & Easter 2026
Hello! I’m delighted to present here our Spring 2026 new organ publications. Our wonderful composers and arrangers have created a variety of new material that is sure to enrich your organ playing in worship or concert.
James Michael Stevens and Lynn Arthur Koch have followed up on their recent Advent/Christmas books with collections of hymn-based material for the impending Lent/Easter seasons. Brenda Portman’s new Eternal Grace is her second volume of music for this season.
Ruth Elaine Schram has penned a second organ volume in her beloved Prayludes series, providing easy flexible hymn medleys that can be adapted to any length needed. A satellite volume for Nigel Williams’s series of easy hymn miniatures is the new Easiest Hymn Settings, which provides even easier material useful especially for beginning or inexperienced organists.
Two publications focus on music originally conceived to be useful for smaller organs (though they are, of course, usable on larger instruments as well): a “bumper crop” treasury of manuals-only music by David Lasky and a set of Songs Without Words by Alfred V. Fedak (originally written for an organ of one manual and pedal).
Volumes of general hymn settings by Carolyn Hamlin (focusing on some of the great hymns of faith) and James J. Stanley (on hymn tunes of American origin) provide useful material for any time of the year. Martin Ellis’s Celebrations series continues with Psalm Celebrations, vibrant pieces inspired by the psalms (and hymns with psalm-derived texts). Jaebon Hwang has focused on both hymns of creation and the creation narrative itself in her newest collection, A New Creation.
The two multi-composer volumes of Exaltations draw on short, original pieces written over the past decade for Lorenz’s subscription series by 40 different composers, providing a marvelous variety of distinctive pieces for service voluntaries or recitals.
There is something for everybody among these new offerings, and I sincerely hope that you will enjoy playing this music as much as we all did in preparing it!
